We have found that within the last 12 months there has been a sufficient shortage of quality candidates in comparison to job briefs. People are staying at their companies for longer periods due to the security and aftermath of the recession and how is resulted in many redundancies.

We therefore came up with innovative ways in which we could overcome this challenge. We believe the most effective way of generating candidates is by engaging with our pool of talented individuals to learn about their skill set, job preferences and abilities. As a result we introduced a new networking event called “Fadz”. Fadz networking events is a new and exciting way we are showcasing new trends and technologies within our specialised sectors. Fadz events are a way to showcase current trends within Marketing, Media and Communications to those who work within these sectors. We believe people will gain a valuable insight and experience a networking opportunity with liked minded professionals and therefore and opportunity for us to convert new candidates into our community.

We have also introduced “XchangeClub” which is a workshop based event that we hold in-house, hosted by a team, i.e. PR and Comms team. This is a way for us to educate our candidate base on issues, trends and skills required within their sector. It is an informal environment where we ask candidates to invite a plus one who also works within their area, thus generating more candidates for us to connect with.
