Tasked with growing a recruitment business from the ground up, specialising in Digital and Social Media Marketing, Fresh Resources put together an industry leading social media strategy that consistently generates both online and offline interactions with its candidates and clients. We grew a community of 5000 digital/social industry professionals that discuss the industry across Twitter, Linkedin and our event Blog and met face to face on the first Monday of each month - Social Media Monday (now techMAP Monday) was born...
The community wasn’t built on the foundation that it was a job market place, but a community where there was regular discussion and content available for industry professionals to learn from, followed up with offline networking events, again content focussed. The off shoot is that we’ve build strong and valuable relationships and a name that is respected for understanding its industry first of all, and secondly, being a leading recruitment supplier in its space.
Fresh Resources have secured exclusive supply contracts with leading marketing agencies in this space, made several senior placements, multiple mid-level and junior placements via it’s social media strategy and therefore is delighted that it returned a healthy ROI – branding, market presence and of course pound notes..! We’re delighted with our last 12 months and see the key to any social media strategy is not to simply to gain followers but to engage AND actually bring them relationships offline!
In August 2011, Fresh Resources made the 50mile leap from Oxford and opened it’s London Bridge offices, despite some turbulent times (we’ve all had them), we’re still here and feel that the last 6 months hard work are shaping what promise to be a record breaking end to 2011 and start to 2012 for us.
